Personal, Business, and Enterprise Accounts
The differences between Calendox Personal, Business, and Enterprise accounts — features, billing models, and how to choose the right type.
Calendox has three account types — Personal, Business, and Enterprise — chosen during onboarding. Personal is a single-user account, Business adds team members and per-seat billing under one subscription, and Enterprise connects an entire Microsoft 365 organization at the tenant level.
Account type and plan are separate things: Personal and Business accounts subscribe to the same Basic, Standard, or Premium plans (see Plans and billing), while Enterprise has its own per-calendar seat pricing and isn't on that plan grid at all.
How do the account types compare?
| Personal | Business | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | One person syncing their own calendars | A team under one subscription | An organization connecting a whole Microsoft 365 tenant |
| Plans | Basic / Standard / Premium | Basic / Standard / Premium, billed per seat | Separate per-calendar seat pricing |
| How calendars connect | You connect your own Google and Microsoft accounts | Each member connects their own Google and Microsoft accounts | One tenant-wide Microsoft 365 admin consent, plus bulk CSV import |
| Calendar sync | Yes | Yes | Yes — via a dedicated tenant sync wizard |
| Unified Calendar | Yes | Yes | — |
| Bookings | Yes (plan limits apply) | Yes (plan limits apply) | — |
| Team roles and invites | — | Admins and members via the Members page | Admins manage the tenant centrally |
| Management surface | Dashboard | Dashboard + Members page | Tenant management dashboard |
Which account type should I choose?
- Personal — you want your own calendars in sync: a work Outlook and a personal Gmail, several Google accounts, or any mix of the two providers. You pay for yourself and manage everything from your own dashboard.
- Business — a team where each person keeps connecting their own calendars, but the team owner holds the subscription and buys seats, and admins assign a license to each member. See Team management.
- Enterprise — an organization where IT connects the whole Microsoft 365 tenant once through admin consent. Employees never sign in to Calendox or authorize anything individually; admins import calendars in bulk and map them centrally. See Enterprise accounts.
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial at Premium-level limits — see Plans and billing for what the trial includes and what happens when it ends.
Can I change my account type later?
Your account type is set during onboarding and can't be switched from the dashboard afterwards. If you picked the wrong type, contact support@calendox.com.
Two features people often ask about are tied to the account type, not the plan: the Unified Calendar and booking pages are both available on every paid plan for Personal and Business accounts (booking-page counts vary by plan). Neither is available on Enterprise accounts.
