Microsoft Teams
How to use Microsoft Teams meeting links in Calendox calendar events.
Microsoft Teams online meeting links are generated automatically for events connected to a Microsoft 365 calendar — no separate connection step is required beyond your existing Microsoft account.
How it works
When you create an event and select Microsoft Teams as the meeting provider, Calendox uses Microsoft Graph API (via your connected Microsoft account) to create an online meeting and attach the Teams join link to the event.
Prerequisites
- A Microsoft calendar connected in Calendox (see Connect Microsoft Calendar)
- A Microsoft 365 account that includes Teams (Teams is not available on personal Microsoft accounts)
Meeting Apps settings
Microsoft Teams can be enabled from Dashboard → Settings → App → Meeting Apps. Toggle Microsoft Teams on to make it available when creating events.

Create an event with Microsoft Teams
- Click Create Event in the calendar view.
- In the Meeting field, select Microsoft Teams.
- Ensure the event's calendar is a Microsoft Outlook calendar.
- Save the event.
Calendox creates the Teams meeting via Microsoft Graph and attaches the join link to the event. Invited attendees see the link in Outlook and can join from the Teams app or a browser.
Limitations
- Teams online meetings require a Microsoft 365 subscription with Teams included. Free Microsoft accounts and Microsoft 365 Personal accounts without Teams are not supported.
- Teams meeting links can only be generated for events associated with a Microsoft calendar. For Google Calendar events, use Google Meet instead.
