Zoom
How to connect your Zoom account to Calendox and generate Zoom meeting links directly from calendar events.
The Calendox Zoom integration lets you generate Zoom meeting links when creating or editing calendar events. Once connected, you can select Zoom as the meeting provider for any event and Calendox will create the meeting automatically via the Zoom API.
Prerequisites
- A Zoom account (free or paid)
- At least one Google or Microsoft calendar connected in Calendox — connecting calendars requires an active trial or a paid plan (Basic, Standard, or Premium), since the Free plan has no calendar connections. See Plans and billing.
Connect Zoom to Calendox
1. Open Settings → App
Sign in to calendox.com and navigate to Dashboard → Settings, then click the App tab.
2. Find the Zoom card
Scroll to the Meeting Apps section. Locate the Zoom row and toggle it on (or click Connect Zoom).

3. Sign in to Zoom
A Zoom authorization window opens. Sign in to your Zoom account if prompted.
4. Review and authorize permissions
Zoom will show a consent screen listing the permissions Calendox is requesting:
| Permission | Why Calendox needs it |
|---|---|
meeting:write:meeting | Create Zoom meetings when you add a meeting link to a calendar event |
meeting:read:meeting | Read meeting details to display the join link in your event |
meeting:delete:meeting | Remove the Zoom meeting if you delete the calendar event it was attached to |
user:read:user | Read your Zoom user ID to associate meetings with your account |
Click Allow to authorize Calendox.
5. Confirm the connection
You are redirected back to Calendox. The Zoom row in Settings → App → Meeting Apps shows Connected and the toggle turns blue, confirming the integration is active.
Create an event with a Zoom link
1. Open the Add Event dialog
Go to Dashboard → Unified Calendar and click + Add Event in the toolbar.

2. Select Zoom from the Meeting dropdown
In the Meeting field, open the dropdown and select Zoom. You will see all available meeting providers — providers that are not connected are shown as "Not connected".

3. Save the event
Fill in the title, dates, and any other details, then click Save. Calendox calls the Zoom API and generates a unique meeting link for this event.
4. Join link appears in the event
Open the event to see the generated Zoom join link. The link is also written back to your Google Calendar or Outlook event so attendees can join directly from their calendar app.

Disconnect Zoom
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → App.
- In the Meeting Apps section, toggle Zoom off.
- Confirm the disconnection in the dialog.
After disconnecting, Calendox can no longer generate new Zoom meeting links. Existing events with Zoom links are not affected.
To revoke Calendox's access at the Zoom level, visit marketplace.zoom.us/user/installed, find Calendox in the list of installed apps, and click Uninstall.
Troubleshooting
The authorization popup does not open Check that your browser is not blocking popups for calendox.com. Allow popups and try again.
I see "Authorization failed" after clicking Allow Your Zoom account may be part of an organization that restricts third-party app installations. Contact your Zoom administrator to approve the Calendox app in your organization's Zoom Marketplace settings.
Zoom shows as connected but no meeting link is generated Disconnect and reconnect Zoom to refresh the access token. If the issue persists, contact support@calendox.com.
I don't have any calendars to attach a Zoom link to Generating a meeting link requires saving the event to a connected Google or Microsoft calendar. If you're on the Free plan (trial expired, no active subscription), you won't have any connected calendars — subscribe under Dashboard → Settings → Billing to reconnect calendars and use Zoom links again.
