Connect a Microsoft Calendar

How to connect your Microsoft account and import Outlook calendars into Calendox.

Prerequisites

  • A Calendox account (any plan, including free)
  • A Microsoft account with Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar access

Steps

1. Open the Accounts page

Sign in to Calendox and navigate to Dashboard → Accounts.

2. Click "Connect Microsoft"

Click the Outlook Calendar card. A Microsoft login/consent window opens.

3. Authorize Calendox

Sign in with your Microsoft account and click Accept to grant calendar access. See OAuth permissions for the full list of scopes requested.

4. Select calendars to import

Calendox lists all calendars in your Microsoft account. Select the ones you want to use in syncs, then click Import.

5. Confirm

Your imported calendars appear under your Microsoft account on the Accounts page and are ready to use in syncs.

If your organization requires admin consent before third-party apps can access calendar data, you may see an error during the OAuth flow. Ask your IT administrator to grant admin consent for Calendox in the Azure Active Directory portal, or contact support@calendox.com for assistance.

Reconnecting

Microsoft access tokens expire after about one hour and Calendox refreshes them automatically in the background — most users never notice. If access is revoked (administrator action or a password change), Calendox can no longer read or write that calendar. Go to Dashboard → Accounts and repeat the Connect Microsoft flow for that account to restore access.

Removing a Microsoft account

Go to Dashboard → Accounts, find the Microsoft account, and remove it. A calendar that is currently part of an active sync cannot be removed directly — disable or delete the sync first, then remove the calendar.
