Sign In With Your Mailbox Password

Click the Exchange Server card and enter your mailbox address — Calendox finds your server from it, or you enter the server name Outlook on the web uses. Then sign in with your Exchange password. Calendox stores it encrypted, sends it only to your own server, and deletes it when you disconnect the calendar. If your mailbox turns out to be in Microsoft 365, Calendox offers the Microsoft 365 sign-in instead.

Sooner when your server can reach Calendox — your IT admin can allow it

Changes Within About 5 Minutes

Calendox checks each connected Exchange calendar on its own, so changes you make in Outlook, Outlook on the web or on your phone reach Calendox within about 5 minutes — sooner when your server can reach Calendox, which your IT administrator can allow. Edits you make in Calendox are written to your Exchange calendar straight away, and from there to the other calendars in your syncs. Changes from Google and Microsoft 365 arrive within seconds.

Your Own Mailbox Calendars

Calendox works with Exchange Server 2016 or later and lists the calendars in your own mailbox: the default calendar and any you created under it. Each one can join one-way and multi-way syncs with Google, Microsoft 365 and other Exchange calendars, show in the Unified Calendar, count towards booking-page availability, and be the calendar bookings land on. Zoom links work on Exchange events; Teams and Google Meet links need a Microsoft 365 or Google calendar.

Calendar Sync FAQ

Which Exchange Server versions does Calendox support?

Exchange Server 2016 or later, including Exchange Server Subscription Edition. Your mailbox has to be reachable from the internet the same way Outlook on the web is, and your server has to allow sign-in with your mailbox password. The Exchange Server for IT administrators page in the docs lists exactly what to check.

Do I need my IT administrator to connect?

Not to try. Enter your mailbox address and password, and Calendox connects if your server allows it. If something blocks the connection — the server isn't reachable from the internet, or password sign-in is switched off — the dialog says what happened in plain words and offers Copy message for your IT admin: the problem, the change needed and any commands, never your password.

Where does my Exchange password go, and what does Calendox store?

Calendox stores your Exchange password encrypted and sends it only to your own server when it signs in. It's deleted when you disconnect the calendar or delete your Calendox account. Event titles, descriptions and locations are never stored: Calendox keeps timing and a one-way content fingerprint, and reads the details live when they're shown.

How fast do Exchange Server changes sync?

Changes made on your Exchange calendar reach Calendox within about 5 minutes, sooner when your server can reach Calendox, which your IT administrator can allow. Edits made in Calendox are written to your Exchange calendar straight away, and changes from Google and Microsoft 365 arrive within seconds.

What if my mailbox is in Microsoft 365?

Then it isn't on an Exchange Server your organisation runs, and the Outlook Calendar card is the right one. Starting from the Exchange Server card does no harm: Calendox recognises a Microsoft 365 mailbox and offers the Microsoft 365 sign-in instead, with no Exchange password needed.

Which calendars can I connect, and what can I do with them?

The calendars in your own mailbox: the default calendar and any you created under it. Calendars shared with you and other mailboxes aren't listed; connect that mailbox with its own account instead. Each imported calendar can join one-way and multi-way syncs, shows in the Unified Calendar, counts towards booking-page availability and can be the calendar bookings land on. Zoom links work on Exchange events; Teams links need a Microsoft 365 calendar and Google Meet links a Google calendar.

What happens when my Exchange password changes?

Your server rejects the stored password, so syncs that use the account stop receiving and sending changes until you update it. The account card shows a key icon and an email tells you what to do: enter the new password, and the connection resumes with your calendars, syncs and events kept.

Which Calendox accounts can connect an Exchange Server?

Personal and Business accounts. Enterprise accounts are for Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant sync and don't include Exchange Server.
