Terms of Service for Calendox
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern Your use of the Calendox website, dashboard, and public booking pages. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You disagree with any part of the Terms, You may not access the Service.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our Service. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Data Security policy, Cookie Policy, and Service Level Agreement.

Acknowledgment
These are the Terms of Service governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. These Terms of Service set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms of Service. These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including people who book time through a Booking Page.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If You use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, You confirm that You have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “You” includes that organization.
User Accounts
When You create an Account with Us, You must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your Account on Our Service.
Access to Your Account is provided through passwordless sign-in (a one-time link sent to Your email) or by signing in with a supported third-party account such as Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account or third-party account used to access the Service, and for any activities or actions taken under Your Account.
We email You when Your Account is used from a device We have not seen before. You must notify Us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your Account.
Account Types and Teams
The Service offers three Account types:
- Personal Accounts are single-user Accounts.
- Business Accounts are team Accounts. The organization that owns a Business Account holds its Subscriptions, not any one administrator, and is responsible for its members’ use of the Service. All administrators have the same rights: any administrator can purchase seats, manage Subscriptions, invite and remove members, assign licences, and change roles. Administrators can see each member’s name, email address, role, and licence, but not the member’s calendars, events, or syncs.
- Enterprise Accounts sync calendars between two or more Microsoft 365 tenants, each connected at the tenant level. The first tenant connected is the master tenant, and its calendars do not use seats; every other connected tenant is a secondary tenant, and each calendar imported from a secondary tenant uses one seat. For each tenant, an administrator of that tenant grants tenant-wide consent so that its calendars can be mapped and synced, and confirms they are authorized to grant that consent on behalf of the organization the tenant belongs to. Enterprise Accounts include the enterprise sync feature only — they do not include the Unified Calendar, Booking Pages, or meeting-app integrations.
Third-Party Providers
The Service works by connecting to Your Providers with Your authorization, through each Provider’s own consent screen. We access only the permissions listed in our OAuth Permissions documentation, and You can revoke Our access from Your Provider account at any time. Your use of each Provider remains subject to that Provider’s own terms and policies.
We do not control Your Providers. We are not responsible for their availability, for changes they make to their services or interfaces, for limits they impose, or for restrictions applied by an administrator of Your organization, and syncs may be delayed or fail while a Provider is unavailable. You are responsible for ensuring that You are permitted to connect a given calendar to the Service — for example under Your employer’s policies for a work calendar.
Calendox’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your Data
You retain all rights in Your Data. You grant Us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, copy, transmit, and modify Your Data solely as needed to provide the Service in accordance with the syncs, Booking Pages, and settings You configure — for example to write an event into a calendar You chose as a sync target. We do not store the content of Your calendar events; how We handle Your Data is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Security policy.
Syncs write to the calendars You choose. You are responsible for selecting the correct source and target calendars and for reviewing the results, and We recommend keeping Your own backup of important calendar data with Your Provider.
Booking Pages
Booking Pages are available on Personal and Business Accounts. A Booking Page is public: anyone with its link can view Your availability as free/busy slots and book time with You. You are responsible for the content of Your Booking Pages, for the questions You ask, and for handling the information people submit through them lawfully — including providing any privacy notice Your own use requires. We may remove a Booking Page that violates these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe the rights of others.
- Access or attempt to access another user’s Account, calendars, or data, or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without Our written permission.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service — for example by sending abusive volumes of requests, circumventing rate limits, plan limits, or bot protection, or introducing malicious code.
- Use Booking Pages or the Service to send spam, harass others, or collect information from people under false pretences.
- Circumvent the Free Trial — for example by creating multiple Accounts for the same person or organization to obtain more than one trial.
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service, or resell or sublicense it, except as expressly permitted by Us in writing.
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content from the Service other than Your own data through the features We provide.
Free Trial
Every new Account starts with a 14-day Free Trial. No payment method is required. On Personal and Business Accounts the trial includes Premium-level limits; on Enterprise Accounts it includes up to 5 imported secondary-tenant calendars in total. Current trial limits are described on our Pricing page and in our documentation.
The Free Trial is available once per person: an email address or Provider account that has already been used with a trial is not eligible for another, including after an Account is deleted and re-created. On a Business Account each member has their own Free Trial, but once the team holds a Subscription a member needs a licence from it to keep using the Service, even before their own Free Trial ends. When the Free Trial ends without a Subscription, Your syncs are paused and You cannot add new calendars or syncs; Your connections and configuration are kept, and syncing resumes when You subscribe.
Subscriptions purchased through the Microsoft commercial marketplace follow the free-trial and conversion terms Microsoft shows at checkout. Activating a Microsoft commercial marketplace subscription, including one in a Microsoft trial, ends any remaining Free Trial on Your Account, and the Free Trial is not restored if You later cancel that subscription. We may change or withdraw the Free Trial for new sign-ups at any time.
Subscriptions and Billing
Plans, prices, and renewal
After the Free Trial, continued use of the Service requires a Subscription. Current plans, prices, and plan limits are described on our Pricing page, and the applicable fees — in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes — are shown at checkout before You pay. Business Subscriptions are priced per seat and Enterprise Subscriptions per imported secondary-tenant calendar.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled, and each renewal is charged at the price then in effect for Your plan. We will give You at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change affects Your renewal.
Payment
Card Subscriptions are processed by our third-party payment processor through its secure checkout, subject to its terms. We collect a billing address before checkout; Your card details are entered with the payment processor and are never stored by Calendox. We email You when a Subscription starts, renews, changes, or is at risk.
Changing Your plan or seats
On a card Subscription, upgrades take effect immediately, and You are charged the full difference between the price of the new plan and the price of Your current plan at once, wherever You are in the current billing period. Downgrades and switches between monthly and annual billing take effect at Your next billing date and are accepted only if Your current usage fits within the new plan’s limits. Only one pending change can be scheduled at a time.
On a card Subscription, seat increases take effect immediately and the full price of the added seats for one billing period is charged at once. Seat decreases You make in Settings take effect at Your next billing date on a Business Account, together with the licences You choose to revoke for them, and immediately on an Enterprise Account. Where a seat is removed immediately, our payment processor credits the price difference to Your Subscription for future renewals instead of refunding it.
On a Business Account each seat is a licence that an administrator assigns to one member. Once the team holds a Subscription, a member who does not hold a licence cannot add calendars or syncs, and their syncs are paused until an administrator assigns them one. This includes a member whose own Free Trial was still running when the team subscribed, and a member who joins afterwards. On an Enterprise Account each seat covers one imported secondary-tenant calendar; if there are fewer seats than imported secondary-tenant calendars, Your syncs are paused, and no new syncs can be created, until seats are added, or imported secondary-tenant calendars are removed, so that the seats cover every remaining imported secondary-tenant calendar.
Cancellation
You can cancel Your card Subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; You keep full access until then, and You can undo a scheduled cancellation at any time before the period ends. After the period ends Your Subscription ends and Your syncs are paused. Except as described in our Refund Policy, no refunds or credits are given for the unused part of a billing period.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment for a card Subscription fails, Your Subscription is placed on hold for 3 days while You update Your payment method, and Your plan and syncs stay active during that window. If payment is not recovered within that time, Your Subscription ends and Your syncs are paused. You can subscribe again at any time.
Microsoft Marketplace Purchases
Any plan can also be purchased through the Microsoft commercial marketplace. For those purchases Microsoft is the seller: the purchase is made under the Microsoft Standard Contract, is billed to Your Microsoft billing account, and plan and seat changes are managed from the Microsoft 365 admin center rather than inside Calendox. Plan and seat changes made there take effect when Microsoft applies them. A marketplace Subscription can be cancelled from the Microsoft 365 admin center or from Settings in Calendox (on a Business Account, by an administrator); cancelling it from Calendox, or deleting the Personal or Enterprise Account, or the team, that holds it, ends it immediately. Refunds for marketplace purchases, and the timing of a cancellation made in the Microsoft 365 admin center, follow Microsoft’s commercial marketplace terms shown at checkout.
These Terms continue to govern Your use of the Service itself. A Personal or Enterprise Account can hold one Subscription at a time, and a Business Account one Subscription per plan: an active card Subscription must end before a marketplace Subscription can take its place on the same Account.
Plan Limits and Fair Use
Each plan includes limits on connected calendars, active syncs, Booking Pages, and seats, as shown on our Pricing page. Features described as unlimited are subject to fair use to prevent abuse. We may apply technical limits, and may throttle or suspend usage that places an unreasonable load on the Service or that We reasonably believe is abusive.
Changes to the Service
We are continually improving the Service and may add, change, or discontinue features. Where We discontinue a material feature You have paid for, We will make reasonable efforts to notify You in advance. Our Service Level Agreement describes how We approach availability, maintenance, and support; it is informational and does not create a guarantee of uninterrupted service.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding Your Data and content provided by other users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.
The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Country and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of the Company.
If You send Us feedback or suggestions about the Service, You agree that We may use them without restriction or obligation to You.
Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by deleting Your Account from Settings. A Business Account belongs to its team: leaving the team, or being removed from it by a team administrator, deletes Your Account, and the last administrator of a team ends the agreement for the team by deleting the team, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion is immediate and permanent: Your connected calendars are disconnected, events Calendox created in Your Provider calendars are removed, and Your Data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting a Personal or Enterprise Account, or deleting a team, also sets any active Subscription on it to end; a member leaving a team, or being removed from it, does not end the team’s Subscriptions, and the member’s seat stays with the team.
We may suspend or terminate Your Account if You breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully or abusively, fail to pay fees when due, or where We are required to do so by law. Where reasonably practicable We will notify You first and give You an opportunity to remedy the problem. We may also terminate the Service, or Your access to it, on reasonable notice.
Upon termination, Your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including those on Your Data, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that syncs will complete without delay, or that the Service will remain compatible with every change made by Your Providers.
Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of these Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service or 100 USD if You haven't purchased anything through the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, and nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights of consumers.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Ajman, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of the Emirate of Ajman, United Arab Emirates. If You are a consumer residing in the European Union, You also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You reside, and You may bring proceedings in that country.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice — by email or through a prominent notice in the Service — prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service and delete Your Account.
General
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, constitute the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject. For marketplace purchases, the Microsoft Standard Contract governs the purchase itself.
